Apply Masking Fluid to create a barrier that protects desired white space by blocking watercolor washes. The bottle includes five different fine-point applicator tips and dries to a transparent caramel color, so you can see it while you work. The dried fluid is easy to rub off with your fingers or a rubber cement pick-up.

What is Masking Fluid?

Masking fluid is a liquid latex material. It's used to mask off and protect areas of the paper from the watercolour paint, and it can be rubbed off when the painting is dry to reveal the pristine white paper underneath. Generally, masking fluid is cream or blue so it's visible as you're painting over it.
